Military: Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1968, and
after serving as Platoon Commander and Executive Officer (Japan and Republic of Vietnam), and
Officer Recruiter (California), was assigned to law school. Served in trial and defense positions post
law school. Active Duty from 1968-1981 and Reserve Duty 1981-1998. Retired as a Colonel in
1998.
